This is actually old news considering I traded my Celica for an 91 MR2 Turbo back in December. I've had it running and driving since March but have been waiting to post it up until I was satisfied with the end result...for now
![]() The car originally had a JDM 93 3SGTE swapped in but had developed rod knock. I took the ST205 WRC 3SGTE meant for the Celica and put it in the MR2. I did all the wiring (a first for me) and fabrication myself. Things I've added since owning the MR2: New Rear Ball Joints and LCA bushings, Custom Intake, WTA plumbing and Heat Exchanger w/dual fans, 10" puller fan where stock IC was located, H4 Conversion w/ 8000k HIDs, Non-Air Bag Steering wheel, and lastly an HKS EVC 6. Enjoy the pix. -Colin ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Yeah those fenders are pretty much decoration for the "garage"
![]() I'll be selling some left over parts soon....I even have that hood spoiler you've been looking for Goferris, but I'm selling that and the GT-Four hood to the owner of my old Celica. Kim - The heat exchanger and dual fans are mounted behind the radiator; it was the only way to get it up front without cutting up the front bumper and losing that valuable thing called AC. Track time will have to wait until I get some straight rims; it vibrates pretty bad past 65mph. Let me know about the parts and fill me in on whats new with the Celica Celicadude04 - The MR2 is from Hot Wheels while the Celica is from Maisto. -Colin |
