I simply can't make up my mind and I've applied alot of what I've learned on this site to my car. I trust that this will help me make a decision.

I've read alot about suspension setup in these here forums.
The concenus of opinion general seems to be towards Koni Yellows or KYB GR-2 shocks, however, as for the question of coilovers or springs, I don't think anyone has come up with a definitive answer or listed the pros and cons. So let's get this straight... (...and I should point out here that I am by no means an expert and all info. comes from reading peoples responses) Coilovers Adjustable - Yes (range between 0 - 4") Rideability - bouncy Price - @$130 + (dependant upon make) Extras: You're going to need new struts...ummm! (How long will the struts last before you need to replace them again?) Camber kit (advisable if going for a 2"+ drop ) Wheel alignment - required everytime you adjust up and down. Springs Adjustable - No (range between 1 - 1.75" dependant upon make) Rideability - firm and precise Price - @$75 + (dependant upon make) Extras: None Draw your own conclusions. |
