Hey guys, i guess i need to change the timing belt so my bud can buy my car. Anyways, i was wondering how long it takes to change a timing belt, and if i can do it myslef. Or, does a shop have to do it? if so, how much is reasonable for a labour price? thanks for your help.

I would like to know reasonable labor prices too. My car is about 9k miles for my second timing belt change. I think the book time for the job is about 4-5 hours, so depending on how much a shop charges an hour of labor, it could be anywhere from $300-450 for labor. -------------------- |
