Kinda stupid question, I just bought a sub and amp off a friend. Its a single 12" Sony Xplod in a single carpeted box and a Sony amp attatched to it. What I was wondering is how to keep it from moving around while driving. Im pretty new to this so I have no idea, do I somehow bolt the box to the cardboard on top of the spare tire. Any thoughts? thanks
Looks like this:

I'm a big fan of L-Brackets and Self taping screws. But one thing to keep in mind with the 6gc, is that if you position it behind the rear seats in the trunk, DONT drill downward, the fuel tank is right there

Scary enough it's directly under the rear seats [Then again in the event of a fuel tank explosion that thing could be mounted out on the back bumper and everybody in the car will be KFC anyway]. I had a major rear end collision in my last 6gc and the box broke but did not fly around. The 6x9 box behind my head however did and hit me and my headrest - wasn't fun.
