Pilonidal Cyst, anybody else blessed with this? Options

Just had surgery yesterday to remove my cyst...in a lot of pain and all i can do is surf on 6gc haha.

anybody else ever have a pilonidal cyst or has gone for surgery to remove it?

"A Pilonidal (Abscess, Cyst, Sinus, Dimple) is an abscess in the natal cleft (more commonly referred to as your butt crack) that tends to become infected and cause intense pain and drainage. Sometimes a Pilonidal contains hair and sometimes they don't.

Doctors are not sure what causes a pilonidal cyst. An old theory is that a small and harmless cyst has always been present at birth, and that for some reason, it has become irritated and formed a painful abscess. its hereditary, thanks to my dad who passed it on to me haha

just looked it up and sounds like it would hurt a lot. G'luck on the recovery!

yeah one of the most painful things i have ever gone through.
