im looking for a black center armrest (the padding+cover to center glove box i think) for my celica. the only place ive seen it for sale online has it for like $50+ so if anyone knows where i can get one cheap...?

Just go to a fabirc store, buy some vinyl take out all of the staples holding down the old cover, peel the old cover off, unstitch the stitching, copy the shape of the old piece and cut out a new piece, slightly larger if you're fairly bad at sewing... put it all together, by hand or with a machine. Slip the new cover back on, re-staple, you're finished. I re-did my shiftboot, made an e-brake boot, and re-fabbed my center pad for less than 3 dollars with some really neat looking rivited black vinyl... matches the 7thgen Celica leather Steering wheel, matrix shift knob, and 7thgen e-brake handle very nicely.
