 I popped positive on a drug test!, For opium?! |

Can anyone, plz, for the love of god tell me why i could have popped on the drug test for opium/morphine? I don't do drugs, I'm not around drugs, and I haven't even seen drugs in the past 5 years! I've takin dozens of drug tests in the military and never had a problem! could it have been something I ate? any input on this is better than no input...

Many include substances that will cause drug test failures. Cough syrups that warn of causing drowsiness are particulary susceptable but hayfever drug, some antidepressants/antianxiety and many other commonly prescribed drugs can also cause positive readings. Yes, poppy seeds can cause positive readings but you need to eat masses. Bagels and certain rye breads contain large quantities of poppy seads. -------------------- Davey
