well hmm, i was playing around with some tubing to see about how much i was gonna need for my intake and when i pulled the stock one off i pulled this thing off and couldnt figure it out.
i feel kinda noobish for it too, i mean i know most the general stuff in an engine bay but i cant think for the life of me what this thing would be for... right now the only possible thing i can think of is "water collection"(i know, wtf, y?) but to be honest i have no idea... what do you think...?

 that makes sense. and i now feel slightly more noobish for thinking it involved water >.<i mean if your butt-dyno approves, i must say i agree too then hahahaedit: oh and mercury.. intel>amd  !
