Long story short, my friend is giving me his sound system, its a box with 2 15's and a 4 channel amp. I have an extra pair of 6x9's laying around my house and was wondering if I could hook up the 6x9's to the other 2 channels. Would this hurt anything? Would I fry the speakers?

I will probably be picking up the speakers and such later on tonight, I really dont know much about his setup, once I find out the wattage and everything I will report back.
