I just replaced my spark plug wires with new NGK High Performance wires (the 04T ones). I had a bit of difficulty getting the #4 wire on but everything seems to be in place and connected snugly. I now have a bit of a rough idle and some hesitation, particularly on the low end. Cruising is generally okay, and the high-rev acceleration seems to be alright as well. It's just at idle I have an occasional miss and then when I try to take off from standing it hesitates. I have re-checked the wires to make sure they are indeed connected properly. So now what? As I said in the topic description, I never had this happen before when changing wires, plugs, or even a rotor or distributor. Is this something that's particular with NGK's? Is there some type of adjustment I have to make with them? Any help will be appreciated. If things don't work out. I'm going back to my cheap-ass Advance generic wires and putting these up for sale. Thanks.
