Forged the Pistion yea if the thing has like more then 100 thousand miles and you beat the hell out of the car. Come give toyota credit on there pistions if you use nos the wrong way yes you will forged the pistion and lock up the motor. If you do your research and good idea to spent a few hunderd on a rebuilt kit and tune the ECU and do a few update then it will work.

Stock Toyota and depend on the miles then yea I would say keep a used motor handy I don't know who working on it. I been working on toyota for ten years and I scene corolla with nos in them I even saw a tercel. I say do you research ask some tuners in your area and get the word on there opinion.
