Yep! I decided to buy it, Yes it is an SS-III, No it doesn't have Beams.
It had 74,480 Kms on the odometer when I took the keys today, What's it got? SS-III side skirts Super Strut Suspension Front & Rear Strut bars 3S-GE motor, Non VVT-i 16 Inch Factory Toyota wheels, 215/50R16 3 Spoke Steering Wheel Auto A/C electronic climate control unit Modern JDM tail lights Modern JDM front bumper Modern 3 Post spoiler What it doesn't have? Beams motor White interior Airbags Front and rear splitters red splash interior carpet (mines blue splash) Sunroof ![]() extra knob on driver seat which remembers the driving position of the back rest It's an amazing upgrade from the '95 SS-I so I'm going to post pictures in this thread and list the things I do to it in time. I got a few things in mind which I'll list later on. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by delusionz: Feb 12, 2009 - 6:24 PM -------------------- Mike W

Yeah, The can fills up, the one I bought is crap though, the good ones have the vacuum port at the top and the oil port at the bottom and there's a separator inbetween and you stuff steel wool in the bottom to filter oil vapors sucking through from the top, however mine seems to fill up which suggests that its working to some extent.
Yep the stock intake hose has 2 ports on it, a little one for ACIS, and a fat one for something else. Hence the difficulty in installing my aluminum ram pipe since it only has 1 nipple and it doesn't match any of the 3s-ge vacuum hose sizes. And you are correct about SS-II and SS-III, You may be interested to know that in 1994 there was no SS-III but there was a special "super strut suspension equipped SS-II" and in 1998 both the SS-II and the SS-III had the Yamaha Beams motor but once again SS-III was equipped with LSD & super strut suspension. Also in many instances of the same year model SS-III gets more body kit parts. -------------------- Mike W
