hey guys. im repainting my aftermarket rims and they got a bunch of those lead counter weights on the inside. should i remove them and rebalance after, or just paint over them?

i think the best bet would be to remove them and get them rebalanced...
painting over them isnt gonna change anything but it makes for more of an issue if anything needs to be changed. And also i'd say painting over them is gonna give more chance for chipping or cracking in that area, i think? over all its up to you, but if it was me doing it i'd remove them. |
