hi folk's
just signed up to your forum after accidently coming across it, great site so far i have recently bought a g6 98 celica but unfortunatly it had no drivers manual with it and a amber oil light has come on oil level ok and all the rest of the levels are all a 100% but after driving for a while the light comes on . can anybody shed any (pardon the pun) light on this problem muchly appreciated coly |

I'm in the UK and have a 94GT. The engine is a 3sge and all the time i've owned it the oil level light has always been on. If i knew were the sensor was ( belive me i've looked ) i'd just jump the pins to shut it off. I really don't think the light is nessasary... you should know when your loosing or burning oil. Its nothing to do with the preasure so dont worry about it. If anyone has a piccy of the sensor or can tell me were the plug for it is supposed to be i would apprecite it.
