I just got back from the midnight showing. It totaly blew me away. Heath Ledger was amazing as the joker...very creepy. Dont want to spoil it for anyone, just want to see what you guys (and gals) thought of it. It could not be any better for me.

All of them have said that he was the best person to work with, that off set he was happy and shy being around all these well known actors. But that he was friendly and everyone loved being around him. Ledger didnt OD by choice. The only fault of his was he didnt read the labels on the bottles of meds he was taking. He was depressed but not because of the roll in this movie. he was having a lot of family problems and he was not the happiest person alive maybe, but it had nothing to do with how he prepared for this roll. He was seeing 3 doctors for depression and anxiety. The 3 doctors gave him 3 different meds for these problems, he took 1 of each as the doctors told him too and the mix of them being taken together sent him into cardiac arrest. It was an accident. I think its funny that everyone made this big deal about how this movie killed him and really it had nothing to do with it. |
