Like 2 days ago i installed my AVIC N1 DVD in my celi.
I bought the harness that plugs my DVD in the stock amp (with RCAs) etc. I plugged the blue/white cable to the Amp remote. Then, yesterday, i tried to installed my subs. Everything went fine untill i remove the DVD and ONLY plugged my subs amp remote with the car amp remote. When i first try to start the DVD, all the lights where blinking blue and nothing was happenning (the red light was blinking when i removed the face though - as if it was working just ok). So i removed everyting and made new connections with new tape. When i tried to start my car, my DVD blinked twice and then i heard something like if it had fried only there wasnt any smoke. Now my DVD wont power up at all... so i brought it back to repaire... After talking to my friend, he told me that it could possible be my car amp that fried... wich could be logic since my DVD gets is power from it... Oh btw, i tried to powert the DVD without the amp subs remote and it was doing the same thing... Anyone thinks he's right? Cause i'd be ****ed if so and would have to buy a stock amp ... and that would REALLY be a pain in the ass to find DVD :Pioneer AVIC N-1 Amp: Stock one from GTS with tweeters + Pyle 1800 Watts Subs: 12'' 1300 W Sony Xplode This post has been edited by reko: Jul 21, 2008 - 1:35 PM -------------------- |
