Will a MR2 engine will fit as easy as a ST205 clip in my GT or will the engine mounts wont fit?
Also, is there a sure way to know if the tranny is LSD?

Yes it will. We in the States just keep our S54's about half the time - it's not the toughest tranny Toyota makes nor does it have LSD but it holds up to 3S-GTE pretty well wink.gif
Hell - Ask Itchy - he's known for breaking stuff and even he took several years of good HP abuse to break his S54.

compared to the GT-Four 3S-GTE which fits straight in, the MR2 3S-GTE is mirrored which makes it hard to fit,

This makes no sense - the motor is still mounted the same in an MR2 - no mirror effect whatsoever. It's just behind you instead of in front of you.

BTW - Years ago I helped Saynug make a rear tranny mount for his swap with MR2 tranny [this was before it was figured out that the ST-205 works in this application]. It can be done very easily now that everyone has mapped out the mount/axles/spacer/shift linkage issues.

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
Slow down Paul Walker.
