More like a restoration of lost power. Wiring degrades as it passes current and also just from age/corrosion. Just getting the regular ones from Walmart and running them to a few key places will get you the same effect for under $20 [Hell under $10 would get it].
Also you'll notice your lights are brighter, both interior and exterior, the engine will feel similar to when you do a new tune up [just better throttle response really]. All of these are things people I trust have reported to me.
