My car had a few panels repainted, and I don't think the previous owner even had them wetsanded. So I have those panels, plus the panels with the factory paint that have hard water spots. I'd really like to detail the car to get rid of any swirls/marks that are on the car, what would be the best way to take care of this, and what would I need to get to achieve a better looking paint? I'm sure I would need a buffer, so is there one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I might just go about having it detailed by a local guy, might be better off, but if I can save some money, I would really like to.
