How can I be sure I'm buying a 3rd gen 3SGTE engine? Is there a badge that will say "ST205" on the block or something like that?
I'm sorry I'm a total newb... I'm just guessing here: ST185 is for the 2nd GEN 3SGTE, correct? So, where on the engine would I look to ensure it was from a ST205? -------------------- |

Very true but the RC version is much smaller and the 165 is even smaller than that.
He's right tho - the intake runners and shape would be more telling. -------------------- ![]() ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
