i went to my local toyota dealership and got a price for for the 1994-1999 shortshifter, it was $220. so i was wondering how the 7gc shifter worked in our cars. i know some have done it. how much custom work is needed, and does it still do it's job as a shortshifter?

if what you are worried about is a brand name than spend the $220 for the 94-99 shortshifter and feel comfortable knowing that you spent the extra money on a part that was designed for your car

i have the no name 7th gen short shifter and have had no problems with it in the two years it has been in, and it was easy to install too

do what makes you feel comfortable with the modification
