yeah what do yah think do i need new bushing or something..when i put it in first 2nd or 3rd gear so on i can move the b*tch like when its in no gears..pissing me off so much!! any help will work..i check everything and it seems alright to me..thanks everyone...

on the shifter assembly there is a pin with a keeper that hold the shifter in place.
 there should be a keeper holding it in place, see if it's still there. -------------------- |
