How's your mileage this summer? Options

I decided to pay close attention to my mileage this week.
I'm driving a 94 GT 5-Speed.

I don't really go over 70-80 on the highway..but I drive
"peppy" on the surface roads (can't help but have fun in
the Celica)..

I'm getting about 280 a tank. With recent plugs, wires,
rotor, cap, distributor.

How's your mileage this summer and how do you drive?

I get about 300 a tank. Jeez 400? what am i doing wrong? i Just replaced my spark plugs and wires..everyhitn else seems fine. What else should i do.

You're doing nothing wrong. You're driving a GT. He's driving an ST. It all depends on your
driving. My city driving RPMs are almost always above 3k. And I do mostly city driving.
If I took it really easy - drove soft, shifted soft and lightened up on the gas foot, my mileage
would jump up considerably. In the situation where I am doing highway driving, I get about
31 MPG.
