1. On the 3SGTE swap where is the best place to put the BOV with a FMIC and with a TMIC?
On the TMIC it seems there is only room between the turbo and intercooler piping, but for FMIC's I see it between the intake manifold and intercooler piping. BUT where is the best place to put it. 2. Also for a FMIC would there still be stalling or hestations when you shift with a BOV that releases into the atmoshphere? 3. I don't really want to go FMIC, so would an IC fan be sufficient enough (I have the GT4 bumper & hood for venting and the front grille seems to be capable of getting air like a scoop(just a speculation.)) |

it depends. the response will be great because there is a lot less volume to fill with air and the piping would be a straight through setup. A fmic will not get heat soaked where the top mount, even with a fan, might. the climate will have an effect on this. if you live in a hot area, the top mount will lose a lot of efficiency. and it tends to heat soak when idling(like at a stop light or in heavy traffic) -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
