well,i bought Chinaman's celica two weeks ago, and it's just been running worse and worse since i got it. rough idle, poor acceleration, just horrible engine performance all around. friday night it threw the Check Engine light and later it would barely move. i found myself literally "flooring" it to get moving at all. so today i decided to borrow a friends tools, change my plugs, wires, and fuel filter and ....Voila! problems solved. runs great now. very strong, no hesitation, no bogging down, smooth idle too! And No more Check Engine Light.
I used NGK wires, and NGK Laser platinum plugs, and a Napa (Wixx) Fuel Filter. tomorrow i will hopefully change the cap, rotor, pcv valve, valve cover gasket with a friend, along with the CV shaft (never done that). Erich |

My car runs fine, but I'm going to get new spark plug wires, distributor cap/rotor, and fuel filter. I haven't done them yet, and might as well at 175k miles. I doubt my fuel filter has ever even been changed.
