Okay, so i installed an AFR gauge this weekend, and everything seemed to be in working order. Until i got on the road for work this morning. After my engine warms a bit, I fall lean during idle (red light); and WAY lean when i begin driving (green light), after a second or two (not sure yet if it's related to RPM or speed) it'll return back to stoich, and stay there until i come to a COMPLETE stop and will gradually dip back down to lean.
WTF could be the reason for that? -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Damn D-Man - most impressive. D-Man's post should be a sticky LOL, oh boy, you can always count on D-Man for ridiculously hilarious posts. |

Nope, that one is slain. Turns out the alarm had nothing to do with it, It was a striped wire elsewhere. I'm thinking i'll check that set of wires for other imperfections, but i wanted to know what could cause this, that way i can track it down on the wiring diagrams, and know exactly what wire is bad, or know what mechanical error is wrong. W/E the case.
the AFR is: POS(+) cig&radio fuse NEG(-) BATT SENSOR at the sensor and the other wire didn't do anything but dim the gauge. Also, Negitive is on the BATT because when i grounded it, The car died. -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! I still have all my old wires for that gauge setup so we could always test things that way [Yeah I didn't use that dimmer wire either - leave that one alone] -------------------- ![]() ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
