Just checkin' out the GReddy SP exhaust, looks nice, a few questions for those of you that may know..
a) Will this fit/work on an ST? It specifically says Celica GT 94-97, but I figure it should be fine on an ST as well. Would it just require a little more work? b) How much added HP will I be looking at with this exhaust? $472, plus shipping and installation.. it better be damn good.. c) How much [roughly] will it cost to install this baby? I lack the tools and skills to do it myself, but what's a rough guesstimate on how much? Thanks, -Brian |

Owning this thing on my ST, I can say that it doesn't do much HP wise, it's more torque than anything(in the 2500-4000 range).
At most I'd say 2-3 hp and 5-6 ft/lb(haven't dynoed). But it IS enough to notice. I can go up hills in 3rd that I used to drop to 2nd for. Install should be about $70. That's how much I paid for mine(was working on a 93 RX-7 R1 and didn't have time to mess with my car). If the group buy on the SP2 does go through, go with that. I've heard nothing but good things about the change. |
