i am getting a new gauge cluster because i broke part of the old one. so i am just going to replace the whole thing. but what do i do about the odometer...is it possible to roll it back/forward by hand so it's correct, or to put the old one into the new one? anybody know? thanks.

yea i got a whole new gauge cluster on ebay for like 10 bucks. GREAT deal compared to getting it at a dealer for like $500 or something. and yea ive tried pretty much everything. i figured out (from testing it on the broken one) that u have to take like the whole needle off to be able to rotate the numbers. so i guess i'll just have to take it to the dealer and see what they can do. how much do u think they'll charge for something like that? and can i get in trouble for any of this, since it has to do with the odometer and stuff, if i tell the dealer about it.... ![]() |
