I'm looking at the Bulldog ICD-605.
Does anyone know if this brand is good? |

i had a bulldog starter on my old 89 GT-S, it was crap. it had poor range and not that many features. it also went hay wire on me. i had shaved my door handles and side beams and had a solenoid hooked up to the module so that when i press the 'trunk release' button, it would open. many times the module repeatedly activated the solenoid over and over on its own until my battery died. sometimes i'd hear random clicks coming from the module as i drove, so something was wrong.
i'd stay away from bulldog, and depending on what you have in your car to protect (subs, stereo, etc) i'd get a higher end alarm. i had a clifford system but the range sucked. my CompuStar PRO has 2-3 times the range.. and couldn't be any happier. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
