i posted a topic about a carbon fiber hood i bought off of a fellow 6gc member. to be exact it was the VIS oem style hood. i got it for $80.

You can use fiberglass resin to fill in any horrid gashes, otherwise prime and paint. TINY defects can be filled with the prime. If you are repairing carbon fiber, i suggest not to use a typical fiberglass resin. Many are not clear or contain UV inhibitors. An Epoxy or Vinyl ester resin for CF is your best bet.
