i have been cheating on the CELICA for a week now. it just feels right and i am ashamed. i still love my celica, but the Z50 has been taking over my every waking hour. i feel so torn. when i savagely pull out of the driveway in her luxurious seating, pulled by the 265 BHP VQ335E power plant coupled to the quirky yet efficient Constant Velocity Transmission, my knees go weak. Sometimes, i swear i can hear the Celica calling out to me as i glimpse one last time towards her in the rearwiew. But those mournful cries are soon quelled as i turn up the volume on the BOSE soundsystem. i know i still love my Celi, but i think i am falling in love again....

Hmm...better-looking, better-handling, more efficient hatchback...or more powerful, less efficient, worse looking SUV.
What a hard, hard choice. |

Hmm...better-looking, better-handling, more efficient hatchback...or more powerful, less efficient, worse looking SUV. What a hard, hard choice. looks should never be argued. i like what i like, and so do you. as far as efficiency goes i'm getting 13l/100km combined highway/city. the celica gets around 10 so i pay 3,75$ more per 100km or 10$ more per week, back and forth to work. it desperately needs a plug change and should get 11l/100km after, so no real difference in consumption. the power is really fun and the handling is better than average for that size SUV (RAV4 CR-V). too bad it's a FWD and AUTO. it's really my weekend/long trip/family car so for me it's a no-brainer and np choice to make. my daily (and i still love it) is my CeliPig, till the day it dies (or get too expensive to fix ![]() if you ever have a chance to drive one, the transmission is curious. no gears, just a loooooong pull up to speed. -------------------- ![]() |

That looks part is true. I thought you were going to sell your Celica soon and just keep this, if you're still keeping the Celica it's a bit different. Still, I guess I just don't like SUV's. No, I lied, I like this one. ![]() |
