I need a new engine. There is a used 5SFE locally that the guy is also selling the automatic transmission with it. My family would probably prefer auto, I have a daughter learning to drive. Is it a big deal to switch from Manual to Auto? If I have the engine and Auto Transmission would there be a lot else to change? Would the ECU need to be changed along with wiring? Is there extra labor cost in swapping both the Engine/Tranny at the same time as compared to just doing the engine?

If you're converting a car from manual to automatic, you will need the auto tranny, the auto ECU, the shifter assembly and auto shifter cable, an automatic-style brake pedal, you'll have to make sure that your radiator has the connections for the transmission cooler hoses, otherwise you'll need an auto radiator... that's about it I guess, not sure if the axles are the same or not.
