i tried to use vice grips to get my stripped plug loose, but they kept on sliding off. any suggestions on how to get it off. i don't have a torch.

dont heat an aluminum transmission with a torch.
a set of craftsman bolt outs or something similar will work just fine. get a new drain plug and gasket from the dealer. -------------------- |
