My friend gave me a 12" Type-R that had the rubber surround blow from the cone. Is it possible to fix this with some kind of adhesive to get it back on and working again? Here is a picture:

you could try a CA glue or something like that it sould hole if you can give it presure i would just take it easy on the sub for a lil while to make sure that it will hold good and dont give the woofer to much power those type r's really dont want more than 500 watts

I wanted to see if standard super glue could work first. And I won't be powering it up in my car for awhile, I just wanted to see what I could do to get it fixed. |
