Found this on autotrader in my quest for another 6th gen:
http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/vdetail...n&doors=&fuel=& Granted it has nice miles and good condition, the kbb is like 13-14g. I'm lookin to buy a celi again after I sell my truck (2003 stepside silverado) and would like some extra money to spend on hospital/ambulence bills from my wreck. I think I could sell the truck for like 15g. Also, the more money I get in the dividend, any excess will be spent on the car. However...the car has to have low mileage and preferably a 99, so thats why I picked this =x. How low do you think I could get the dealership to go for this one? |

Dude I used to work at a car dealership .............. offer 5 or 6 grand under what they are selling it for ........ for the most part used car dealerships have cars marked up 3 to 4 thousand dollars........ and they own it even less that that if carfax isn't clean
check that car fax and start at 6 grand less the guy is gonna try and give you a long a$$ story of why he cant do that price ....... but they will go much lower than 2 grand.......... that cars wholesale value is much lower than 15990....... I'll look it up for ya and give you a link to a website that dealers use to find out wholesale prices Galves All dealerships use this book now you have to pay for it (it used to be free) N.A.D.A. this one is free and is also what dealerships use... this should help you knock down the price This post has been edited by defgeph: Oct 29, 2003 - 11:07 PM -------------------- ![]() I will return one day. |
