Hi,
Currently, my car is torn apart and I'm trying to remove the stock shifter so that I can install the TRD QuickShifter. I've almost got the old assembly out, but I can't figure out how to remove the two shift cables that are marked in the photo below.  If anyone knows how to get these out of the old shifter assembly(and install them in the new shifter), I'd really, really appreciate it if you could help me out. I haven't had any time to work on this lately, because it's always dark when I get home from work. On sunday or monday I hope to work on this and see if I can get it in.  I also want to install my a-pillar gauges, but apparently those are going to be a ton of work.
