I texted with him on Tuesday a bit, still no power but he had just gotten the cell recharged. My guess is the cell is off to conserve battery power in case they actually need the phone for a valid reason other than us harassing them
 They were doing okay though, I know he gassed up Friday before Ike hit and they were okay on food.
