well i just heard the John Mayers version of Free Fallin.
and i was like wtf this is crap compared to the og, i like some of the remakes of the older songs like smooth criminal, beat it and stuff like that but he didnt do it justice. sorry for the rant what you people think --------------------  |

IMO [One from a Cure fan from waaay back when this song came out] this is total butchery and just plain horrible. That's IMO of course. These guys can't begin to claim half the talent the Cure had when they wrote that song with the lineup they had at the time. Furthermore, that song was actually a huge hit in an era when music like that just didn't get any play in America and basically made them a known band in the States. Sorry - not trying to rant or be off-topic but I cringe everytime I hear that version. Jack-off-Jill did it way better as did others.
