It's been like this for a while now, not sure if it's normal wear and tear.
I only have 68,6xx miles on it, and it was fine for a while until this problem came up several weeks ago. Basically, when the engine's cold, it revs up to 2k initially when I start it, then backs down to about 1k when it usually should idle at around 700 RPM. If the engine's still warm, it'll initially rev up to what it usually did, around 1.5k. It also variably idles between 500 and 1k RPM when I'm stopped. Causes? Solutions? |

2k at start up is not normal even if it is still warming up, my car revs at 1k to 1200 at startup... try using seafoam.
