Ok.. So I'm thinking of switching from my current head unit to a double DIN. The reason being is this... My head unit is playin-up (it's a face-off type and the connector seems dodgy). There's a guy I work with selling a brand new double DIN head unit I'm interested in. This thing plays DVD's, has a 6.5" touchscreen LCD, Bluetooth, TV, MP3, WMA and DivX compatible, has connection for Ipod/Zen, etc, etc... the list goes on and on...
He only wants £60 for it too!! Only one problem... The face doesn't come off, which worries me as the unit will be on display 24/7 and might tempt someone to break into my car  What do you guys think? This post has been edited by Racer_J: Sep 20, 2008 - 10:52 AM --------------------  |

Go ahead and upgrade. Sounds sweet. Just make sure you park in the garage at night, and upgrade your alarm as well

Would the camera have to be facing in the direction of the intruder? Or is it a motion sensor camera? ... as for the original comment - all the money you're saving on this new deck; you should invest in a new alarm!
