Hey all, so I'm planning on driving my baby from LA to Vegas this weekend. I didn't think anything of it cause shes been running fine, but my friend's concern (13 year old car, random mishaps, etc.) got me all paranoid.
The longest ive driven was from from LA to the Bay (about 360 miles) 3 years ago. Nowadays the longest she's gone is LA to Riverside (60 miles). Is there anything I should check out before taking my car on a 5+ hr (traffic) drive? Besides tires/oil/coolant. I don't want to break down somewhere in Death Valley, miles away from a casino! |

Go for it! No problem.. Just check the basic: Motor Oil; Tyres; and Gas ![]() You are ready to have a nice trip!! This last summer i ride 400 kms (250 miles) one day, to get some bad weather in resort...so i drove back the next day..other 450 kms back to place near home town.. And hitting hard on foot pedal..like 160-170 km/h ... So i think you will have no problem at all. Just expect a little tired from the drive....but thats nothing to do with the celica..... ![]() Have a nice vacations ![]() EDIT. Forget to say...is a TOYOTA!!! !!!
