 leaky gas tank, fumes are strong |

I have been smelling gas really strong for the last week. Tonight I crawled under the car and found a small hole on the bottom of the tank and when I put my ear next to it I can hear air hissing either in or coming out of the tank. Will JB Weld solve my problem or am I gonna have to go at this in a different and more expensive way. Please,any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say to start hitting up your junkyards or LKQ's. or maybe craigslist looking for one... You can use an epoxy for now, but it's not going to be the best idea for a long term solution.
If you get a used one... Junkyards or LKQ it'll probably be like 50-70 bucks i would imagine... Maybe less... IDK for sure on this car... But it shouldn't be over a hundred. Toyota dealership would probably chage 150 or so... Thanks D-Man, unfortunately, there aren't any celicas at our local junkyard. I've been there a couple of times in a span of 4 months and didn't see any Celica. Not even the older gens. I have been looking at Ebay and craiglist too but can't seem to find any as of now. I might just try the dealership this friday, I'll keep looking for now. -------------------- -Derick
