laugh.gif HI PEEPS... HAVN'T BEEN A MEMBER ON HERE VERY LONG.. IVE ASKED A FEW QUESTIONS TO YOU GUYS ABOUT VARIOUS ST202 TUNING... AND TO THOSE WHO HAVE ANSWERED, YOUV'E BEEN VERY HELPFULL. BUT I SEEM TO BE HITTING A BRICK WALL WITH SOMETHING.....
APART FROM AN UPRATED AIR FILTER AND EXHAUST.. IS THERE MUCH POWER YOU CAN SQUEEZE OUTTA THESE N/A GT's??? ..at least at a sensible cost. i was thinking about chipping and re-mapping mine but someone told me that the celica gt's ecu is already advanced as it is. i guess what im asking for is for someone who has been in the same situation to shed some light on where i can go with this... realistically i dont want to spend more than £500.. any advice is very appreciated..ta

hey, u can gets some cams for it. there's a company here in the uk called piper that make cams for the 3sge. they claim an increase of 20 horses. the only drawback in these is the loss in power in the lower rev range but u gain more at top and an increased rev limit. also i don't think these would be ideal for town driving as u need high revs to get some power.

u could ditch the restrictive cat and a get cheap decat pipe from ebay, but ur gonna have to find an mot place that is open to back handers, or just switch the cat back in for mot's.

don't bother with the apexi safc as there is very few places here that have experience with tuning this piggyback.
