So I bought a stock CD player from Lagos wanting to take my car back to stock so I could keep my current head unit. I got it from him not a problem but when I tried to hook it up the plugs didn't match at all. He did include some other cables but I'm not exactly sure what they are for. I don't have any pics at the moment but can get some tonight but I would really like to be able to use this cd player so I can keep my nice one.
Anyone know what all I need to do? I have the 6 speaker system in my car so I'm sure it has something to do with the stock amp but I'm unsure still.
Thanks all
David

Yeah - you need the amp and the cable that runs from it to the HU. The adapters they sell at places like walmart plug into the amp's connections not the HU's IIRC - been a long while tho.
When I get power back and can see in my garage I will try to locate the spare amp and cable I have lying around - you can have it just pay for shipping.
