ok so i was going to my buddies house and the car died while in motion. pulled out the spark plug tester and i'm getting no spark. i'm curious how do you check if the timing belt snapped? also how would i know if it was my dizzy?

Basically it means that if you snap a timing belt while driving, you won't damage your internals (if it's not non-interference you can break/bend valves among other fun stuff).
