Does the awd 6g celica rear differential/subframe bolt to the FWD chasis? Thanks Turboecho |

I've never seen a Yaris like that, weird. Sounds like a cool concept though. OP, why don't you just import a GT4?

I've never seen a Yaris like that, weird. Sounds like a cool concept though. OP, why don't you just import a GT4? Well i don't want AWD.... I want RWD.... Maybe a supra 2jzgte into the celica. My original plan was to make my echo RWD with a 2jz motor but the wheel base was far to small to use the 2jz+6spd tranny. So the next best thing was to use a celica chasis. If i can mount the awd diff from the GT4 to my celica (with minor modifications required) then it saves me alot of time and money. The rest of the time i can focus on mounting the 2jz in the engine bay. And the celica has a much larger hood and engine bay then my echo so i can fit a much larger motor ![]() Peoples comments and suggestions would be great to help steer me into the right direction. My echo will be my priority this winter in getting it to 350-400+whp. But come spring when i can drive my echo i'll pull the celica off the road and start working on it. |
