I've been contemplating this for a while. I am planning on getting a front lip or splitters for my car (already have rear splitters, just need front and sides to make them look right). So I am thinking I might be able to save a little money if I just keep the stock convertible side skirts and paint them to match.
Here's my attempt at photoshoping how they might look painted: ![]() what do you guys think? good idea? Or should I just get some aftermarket (possibly stock coupe/hatch sides) to go with the whole body kit? This post has been edited by 96bluevert: Oct 18, 2008 - 6:05 PM -------------------- |

I think a former member did the same thing. I believe it was lil lissa. She painted her stock vert skirts the car color and it looked really good IMO.
