Oh I was totally being facetious about the NW being lame - it's not like we all just sat around and were like Oh, the game's on, can't make it, or whatever. Life happens, there's valid reasons for bailing, and definitely the proximity to one another plays a factor in that for most of us one way or the other. Scott, I'm sorry the meet fell apart too, and for whatever it's worth, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that your time, energy and efforts are very much appreciated. I wasn't commenting on what you said griff I was really looking forward to meeting you, maybe more than anyone else. A lot of the long time members from the NW have moved on, sad but true. We have to start a new generation of 6gc.net members, the kind that keep their cars. Maybe the economy is too good out here, people move up in pay, trade the celi, and the cycle starts over again, no one keeps them long enough to really become a established member, yeah thats it, the economy is too good.lol I remember a HIN meet in seattle where we had 11 cars. Caravans help, getting people to cruise up together. Also because of distances one day meets are harder than weekend meets. I have alway liked the idea of a gorge meet for the parks and camping aspect and somewhere a little more central, but then the seattle people end up with a longer drive, I need to look at some maps to see where celica central is. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.
