Hey all,
I have a 1996 Toyota Celica ST. The A/C compressor is frozen and needs to be replaced. I have had the A/C checked for leaks and there isn't any. I plan on replacing the compressor myself but i have some questions. I'm going to replace the compressor and drier, but do i REALLY need to replace the expansion valve? I know i should but think i could get away without doing it? Anyone who has replaced the expansion valve, how hard was it? The dash needs to come off correct? or is it possible to get to it without doing so? Any tips? Thanks in advance everyone!
