they had this same hood on about 2 months ago for 600ish shipped, only recently has it gone up in price. I can understand buying this hood because CF looks cool, but there isn't much weight savings over the stock hood.

I don't care for the carbon fiber look myself. To me, that was a thing of the past. Like early 2000. Pretty much, I see it as the luxury of auto sport non=show cars.
